advocating
on behalf of children’s rights, the Ricky Martin Foundation celebrated
its second charity golf tournament on Friday, June 11 at Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club, in Rio Grande.
The charity golf tournament aims to strengthen the Ricky Martin Foundation’s fight against child exploitation and to raise much needed funds that will help turn the Child Development and Prevention Center
for Children and Youth in Loiza into a reality.

camaraderie " said Fernando Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer of the Foundation.
The meeting between golfers began at 7:30 am in the exclusive golf course. Participation included valuable prizes such as two Mercedes Benz for the Hole In One contests, thanks to a sponsorship from Garage Isla Verde World Class Dealer.

Cocktails Pre-Golf Tournament
As part of the activities that were celebrated along with the annual Golf Tournament, the Ricky Martin Foundation presented a Pre-Golf Tournament cocktail reception on Wednesday, June 9 that began at 7:00 pm at Garage Isla Verde World Class dealer.
Around 200 participants attended the evening event where sponsors, supporters and players enjoyed a night of music, fashion and fun. The evening included a fashion show for the modern woman thanks to the support of U Boutique. The hip clothing was accentuated with precious pieces from the exclusive line MCL available at Lido Jewelers. The participants also enjoyed a silent auction with unique items such as a "Messenger Bag" from Gucci, Bulgari necklace and ring donated by Save the Children, baseball bat signed by Jorge Posada, LLP Congas signed by Giovanni Hidalgo, and "Star Weekend" with Ricky Martin in Puerto Rico during his 2011 concert tour. The Golf Tournament, celebrated on June 11 was a complete success thanks to the sponsors, volunteers and players.
100% of funds raised will go towards the Foundation's initiatives led by renowned international artist and humanist.
